“Healing the body from the inside out with nutrition, massage therapy, and skin care.”
Thank you for being here right now :) My name is Amanda Valentine.
My undergraduate degree is in Health Promotion/Health Protection and Wellness from the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point (May 2006). I then continued my studies to then receive my Masters in Human Nutrition from University of Bridgeport, CT, graduating in May 2015.
During my undergrad studies of Health Promotion & Wellness I got a minor in nutrition, but it left me wanting to know more. As my own health was changing, I decided to get my Masters in Nutrition. My passion for nutrition grew stronger as my own health struggles with Hashimoto's Disease and Celiac Disease has made me change my lifestyle and eating habits. I am just like everyone else with ups and downs. I know the struggle of going to doctor after doctor. I am not here to diagnose you but I am here to help you through this. Are you seeing a naturopath or a functional doctor, but need help between visits? Understanding the supplement program? Learning how to change your diet? Let me be your cheerleader and wellness coach to help guide you.
My mentor is Robert Femminella,a Bio Nutritionist who is a nationally board-certified nutritionist by the Certification Board of Nutrition Specialists (CBNS). Professor Femminella has been a great influence and pushing me to understand the connection of the human body with nutrition even further.
Along with my wellness coaching background, I hold a WI state license in Massage Therapy, where I graduated from Health Touch School of Massage in Rothschild, WI in 2005. I have 15 years of experience as a massage therapist in both clinic and spa settings, where I see clients one-on-one for designated periods. I am also a licensed aesthetician in Wisconsin, having graduated from Skin Alive in Mequon, WI in 2008.
